Both CNBC and Fox Business are news channels in the United States that enjoy a wide viewership. These two channels have a high reputation and also have wide respect among the news channels.
CNBC, which is owned by NBC Universal, is known for its financial or business reporting. New Jersey is the headquarters of CNBC. This channel is known to have about 390 million in viewership. The programs on CNBC include news reports of U.S. businesses, stock market updates, commodity prices, commentary, interviews, and business trends. Some of the big programs on CNBC are: “Deal or No Deal, American Greed, The Apprentice, Squawk Box, Movers and Shakers, Big Idea and Conversations.”
When talking about Fox Business, it was aired much later than CNBC in 2007. Fox Business is owned by Fox Entertainment which is a group of News Corporation. When compared to CNBC, Fox Business only has a small viewership of about 50 million. In rankings also, Fox Business is much lower than CNBC. When CNBC is at the 15th position, Fox News is at about the 43rd position. New York is the headquarters of Fox Business. Opening bell, Money for Breakfast, Noon Show and Countdown to the Closing Bell are some of the Fox Business programmes.
