Difference Between Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 16GB and Galaxy Tab 8.9 32GB
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 16GB vs Galaxy Tab 8.9 32GB
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is probably the biggest competition to Apple’s iPad. Because the iPad is the accepted market leader, Samsung is hard pressed to find the sweet spot where people find the right mix of size, features, and price. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is just one of the 3 size variants which also includes a 7-inch and a 10.1-inch variant. With the Galaxy Tab 8.9, there are also 3 sub-variants; a 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. The main difference between the 16GB and 32GB variants is, of course, the amount of internal memory that each one has. The 32GB variant contains 16GB more.
However, with the added storage capacity comes the additional cost. Although the pricing of the Galaxy Tab varies with different stores and different countries, the price difference of the 16GB and 32GB Galaxy Tab 8.9 is at around $100. So if you do not need the additional storage capacity, you can shave quite a bit from the price of the device. There is also no need to worry about running out of storage capacity as you can install a microSD memory card to expand its capacity. This is great for those who already own microSD cards which are also used in other devices like MP3 players and smartphones.
Aside from the added memory and the price, there is absolutely no difference between the two. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 uses flash memory which is very small and light so there is no added bulk or weight to the device. Techniques in mass production also dictate that the variants be made as a single group in order to minimize costs. Different memory capacities are just added at the end; thereby determining a product as a 16GB model or a 32GB model. Everything else is virtually identical. They should provide the same level of performance and exhibit the same behavior; be it bugs, quirks, or whatever.
Summary:
1.The 32GB version has more internal memory than the 16GB version.
2.The 32GB version is about $100 pricier than the 16GB version.
3.All other aspects of the two are identical.

I am afraid the reviwer is totally wrong: You CANNOT expand Samsung Galxy 8.9’s memory beyond its factory level of 16GB or 32GB. Hoe did you come with such a wild suggestion in your review above?!
