Difference Between HTC Sensation and T-Mobile myTouch 4G
HTC Sensation vs T-Mobile myTouch 4G
The HTC Sensation and T-Mobile myTouch 4G are among the great number of Smartphones equipped with the Android OS. Although they both have the same OS, it is necessary to look into the differences between the two before getting one or the other. The main difference between the Sensation and the myTouch 4G is the processor as the Sensation is equipped with a faster, dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz while the myTouch 4G has a single-core processor with a 1GHz clock speed which is typical of older Smartphones.
Aside from the processor, there are also a number of other differences between the Sensation and the myTouch 4G. For starters, the Sensation has a larger screen that measures 4.3 inches to the 3.8 inches of the myTouch 4G. Despite having a larger screen, the Sensation still manages to achieve a higher pixel density because it has a larger resolution.
Another difference between the Sensation and the myTouch 4G comes in the imaging department. The myTouch 4G comes with a 5 megapixel camera coupled with a single LED flash that is considered par with most Smartphones today. But the Sensation easily beats the myTouch 4G with its 8 megapixel camera and dual LED flashes. Added to that is the Sensation’s ability to record a full 1080p video; unlike the myTouch 4G which can only record at a maximum of 720p. This is largely due to the improved processing capabilities of the Sensation rather than its higher-resolution camera.
Lastly, there is the matter of memory. Both phones ship with an 8GB memory card which should be quite ample for most people. But the myTouch 4G edges out the Sensation by having 4GB of internal memory compared to just 1GB for the latter. The internal memory is quite good for installing apps. Because even though Android allows the installation of applications to the memory card, you will probably want to have your applications when you swap your memory card for whatever reason.
Summary:
1.The Sensation has a dual-core processor while the myTouch 4G doesn’t.
2.The Sensation has a bigger screen than the myTouch 4G.
3.The Sensation has a higher resolution camera than the myTouch 4G.
4.The Sensation is able to record 1080p videos while the myTouch 4G cannot.
5.The myTouch 4G has more internal memory than the Sensation.
