Dell, developers of laptops, comes in three different versions: Inspiron, Studio, and Studio XPS. Of all the three, Inspiron and Studio are widely preferred as they come with added features and are also quite affordable.
Inspiron is the entry-level laptop which also includes mini netbooks. Inspiron is one of the best laptops that is gotten at a cheap price. Studio is intended for multimedia use and comes with a multimedia keyboard and a built-in cam. Inspiron does not come with a built-in camera or multimedia keyboard.
Studio laptop is costlier than an Inspiron laptop. This is because Studio comes with faster hard drive speed, high memory, and fast processors. When comparing the design, Studio comes sleek and comes with a number of media buttons.
Inspiron is equipped with a Celeron processor, 2 GB memory, Vista Basic, 160 GB hard drive, and a four-cell battery. Even the base model of a Studio laptop is equipped with a Pentium D processor, 3 GB memory, Windows 7 Premium, 250 GB hard drive, and a six-cell battery.
Studio has a 720 pixel high-definition LED screen which could be upgraded to 1080 pixel. In the Inspiron there is an option to upgrade to a 256 MB video card, and in the Studio model there is an option to upgrade to a a512 MB card.
Though Inspiron is an entry-level laptop, it can be upgraded to an i5 processor or Core i3. But in Studio laptops, it cannot be done.
Inspiron laptops come in various ranges from mini 10-inch netbooks to 17-inch desktops. Studio laptops range from lightweight 14z models to 17-inch models.
