Difference Between LT and LTZ
LT vs LTZ
When talking about auto engines, all the trims come with some differences in their features and specs. Well, the LT and the LTZ trims used in Chevrolet have their own distinct features and specs.
The LTZ trims are expensive when compared to the LT trims. Unlike the LT trims, the LTZ comes with more options, and added standard features. In appearance as well, the LTZ has a more sophisticated look.
The LT trims rank between the LS and the LTZ trims. The Chevy LTZ model is a luxury model, whereas the LT trim is a mid range model.
When comparing their engines, horsepower and torque, the LTZ trims add on to the LT trims. For example, we can compare the Chevrolet Traverse LT and LTZ trims. The Traverse LT trim is equipped with a 3. 6 L, V6 engine that gives 281 horse power. It also comes with a six-speed auto transmission. On the other hand, the Traverse LTZ comes with a 288-horse power engine.
Another difference that can be seen between the two trims, is that the LT trim has 16-inch wheels, and the LTZ comes with 17-inch wheels.
When considering their safety options, the LTZ trims are packed with more safety measures than the LT trims.
When talking about their interior, the LTZ trims are more luxurious than the LT trims. The LTZ trims are equipped with extra features such as chrome finish handles, sunroof, 6 CD changer, rear parking assist, power foldable rain-sensing wipers, leather upholstery and cruise control. Unlike the LT trims, the LTZ trims have a more sophisticated entertainment system.
Summary:

You were not specific or detailed, just saidLTZ is
More blah blah. What you said could be summed up in one or two sentences and did not help me at all decide.
Agreed. Unable to understand this difference mapping
All This means is that LTZ cost alot more money..
LT Is A little less then that.
LS is even cheaper than them both
“When comparing their engines, horsepower and torque, the LTZ trims add on to the LT trims.”
This means little to nothing for most people.
I agree with the previous comments. Perhaps a list of comparisons between these models would be more helpful.
In 2017 I purchased lightly-used LTZ and LT series of the Chevy Impala 2014 make unfortunately the LTZ was wrecked within 40 days due to another person pulling out in front of me. Am i l t was stolen and totaled as well within the same year of purchase. That being said I had purchased both vehicles with around 35000 miles on the LTZ and 45000 miles on the LT. But I love the LTZ series and hated my LT. With that being said the torque in the LTZ was enough difference for me to enjoy driving the LTZ series as opposed to the LT series The acceleration was slower, didn’t handle as well as LTZ, and was slower to stop. Also my LT series within 55,000 miles on the vehicle after purchasing it at 45000 miles I started having a fuel injection system issue. The cloth leather seats on the LT series was a nuisance and the sound system was a lower-end sound system as opposed to the LTZ series it is a Bose sound system. And knowing that a Bose system are only placed into a car that is from the factory. The sound system itself it was well worth the price difference of the 2. The price difference between the two vehicles at purchasing time was only $1,000 difference. At the end of the day I love my LTZ! And I hated the LT series! Will I ever buy an Impala again, probably not; I don’t think I was meant to have an Impala! But at the end of the day if you’re considering between the two, I would suggest test-driving both vehicles and getting on the highway and really putting in a good test drive for each vehicle. Anyone would then see the real difference as opposed to the very few visual differences between the two vehicles. Other than that they are laid out exactly the same on the inside when it comes to cup holders. My only real complained about the LTZ series was the cup holders, which they haven’t changed that I know of since bringing out the new body style last year.
A few edits to my previous post. The LT had cloth seats. The LTZ had leather interior. And the LTZ my only complaint since loving the car so much, was the cup holders. Which I would like to know that the cup holders and the layout of those were exactly the same. Also I think there is a width difference between the two as well the LTZ series if I recall correctly is about 4 in wider. Also last but not least I found that the plug in for the auxiliary cord seem to be loose forfeit for any auxiliary cord that I would plug into it. I would also like to add that I find that to be common throughout all vehicles no matter make and model or year when it comes to auxiliary cord, the plug-in is not as sitting as one would think.
We drove the LT and decided on the LTZ basically the interior and the electronic option make it a far better experience- we are not car people but the LTZ vs. the LT was an enormous difference in interior comfort and sound.
Idk why some people dislike lt model i have a 2016 1LT and it is nice as ever, its super fast according to the info on this site seems to be some what outdated its back in 2010 both lt and ltz specs might be some what different . 2016 1lt impala v6 has 305hp the ltz has same hp as lt. Ltz is a more luxury model but the proformance is no different the 1lt. I only paid 12.550k for mine. Its worth 30k
This really helps when your sitting in your car looking around like yes I do have crome plated handles, yes I do have a sunroof…I love my LTZ!! Lol!
I have the LT trim. From what I hear the only difference is chrome handles, sunroof, and different engine. Every site and walk around completely fibbed on the LTZ having blank that the LT doesn’t. From a seals consultant and owner… dont get gassed up. Get what u want. The hype is what u make it
