Airways Konnect vs Jetlite

Konnect and Jetlite are low cost airlines of the Jet airways.

Jetlite was the first to be developed as a low cost airline. Jet Airways came up with Jetlite after it felt the need for such low cost airways. As a step towards low cost flying, Jet airways took over the assets of Air Sahara and formed Jetlite. The jet Airways wanted to transform some of the aircrafts to low cost operations but it could not materialise due to some legal hassles. And it was in this circumstance that jet Airways decided on Konnect.

When looking at the logo of the two airways, Konnect uses the same imagery as that of the Jet Airways. On the other hand, Jetlite comes with a slightly modified logo. Jetlite crew have different uniforms, whereas Konnect maintains the same uniform for its crew as that of the Jet Airways crew.

The interior of Jetlite is quite different to that of Jet Airways. Konnect has the same interior as that of jetlite. Unlike Jeltlite, Airways Konnect maintains high similarities with its parent airways. The similarity that Konnect has with Jet Airways has led to much confusion for passengers. There have been instances when passengers had purchased Konnect tickets when they actually wanted to buy Jet Airways ticket. After this, they find that they do not get the services that they expect from Jet Airways.

In jetlite, food is served for an extra cost. On the other hand, food is included in the travel cost when travelling in Konnect. Jetlite comes with reduced benefits when compared to Airways Konnect.

Also, the cost of Airways Konnect tickets are expensive compared to the cost of Jetlite tickets.
