Difference Between Vaping and Juuling
For decades, smoking cigarettes has been more of a luxury than a necessity. Electronic cigarettes, or e-cigarettes, have become quite popular in recent years, especially among teenagers. Later, other forms of e-cigarettes, such as vapes, vape pens, mods, and ENDS, came to the scene and this rapid adoption of this new technology has raised concerns about the potential impact of vaping on health. Proponents of vaping suggest that e-cigarettes offer a safer alternative of nicotine delivery over traditional cigarettes. However, a relatively new form of vaping, called Juuling, has made strides on the social media. Juuling was first developed as a method to keep people away from cigarettes. Juuling is essentially the same as vaping but is a more exclusive term which specifically refers to products with the JUUL brand name. But the question is; which one is better?
Vaping
The act of inhaling and exhaling an aerosol, commonly referred to as vapor, from an electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) is known as vaping. People inhale the vapor via a device that looks similar to a cigarette but can be used again and again. It delivers nicotine, giving users the similar sensation of smoking a cigarette. Vaping is a relatively modern development because the user inhales an aerosol instead of cigarette smoke. It makes comparatively less smoke than other e-cigarettes and unlike cigarettes, they do not contain tobacco; they contain nicotine. There are shops that sell these types of cigarettes only the vaping equipment that goes with them. Vaping started as an aid for adult smokers who wanted to quit smoking. However, as the trend grew, most teens began to use vaping. Vaping devices not only include e-cigarettes, but also vape pens and personalized vaporizers. The most recent development in the vaping industry is the JUUL.
JUULing
Juuling, which is essentially the same as vaping, is a relatively new high-tech form of smoking but it specifically refers to JUUL-brand products. Juuling was first developed as an alternative to smoking but soon emerged as a market leader of e-liquids, making up almost 75% of the market share back then. The company controls about three-quarters of the market for non-traditional smoking products. JUUL devices look like USB sticks and come in a range of colors and variety of flavors like cool mint, fruit medley, and crème brulee. The liquid in JUUL pods contain nicotine salts rather than freebase nicotine, which means it can be inhaled at higher levels without it feeling as harsh on the throat. It is also said to be cheaper than smoking. Four JUUL pods contain as much nicotine as of 100 cigarettes. JUUL was introduced in 2015 and quickly established itself as a leading e-cigarette product.
Difference between Vaping and Juuling
Meaning
– Vaping means inhaling and exhaling an aerosol, commonly referred to as vapor, from an electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) or other vaping devices. Vaping is a relatively modern development which delivers nicotine that gives users the similar sensation of smoking a cigarette but with less harmful effects. Juuling, on the other hand, is essentially the same as vaping but it is a more exclusive term which specifically refers to JUUL-brand products. Juuling is a relatively new high-tech form of smoking which has seen a huge surge of popularity in the last couple of years.
Device
– Vaping is the act of smoking an e-cig or a similar device. Most e-cigs look very similar but vaping devices can look very different – they are battery operated devices that come in one or two-piece designs. The one-piece vapes are usually disposable, while two-piece vapes come with replaceable cartridges. Some of the common vape devices include pod vapes, vape pens, box mod kits, and squonk kits. JUUL is a brand of e-cigarette with brightly colored pods that look like a USB flash drive. These are lightweight, portable devices that come in a range of colors and variety of flavors like cool mint, fruit medley, and crème brulee.
Working
– Vaping devices are electronic devices that have three components: a battery, a liquid reservoir and a heating coil. They have a heating element that atomizes a liquid solution; they do not burn anything. The atomizer contains a coil that is powered by the battery. The liquid usually contains nicotine. When activated, the resistance wire coil heats up to produce vapor that users inhale. Some marijuana vaping devices contain marijuana leaves or buds. JUUL devices have two basic components: the device with a battery and a temperature regulation system, and the e-liquid cartridge called a JUUL pod. When heated, the liquid creates a vapor which users inhale.
