Difference Between Chipotle and Moe’s

With the increase dining out in the recent past, more restaurants and fast food joints have arisen, While it is more advisable to have a homemade meal, eating out once in a while is not only time saving but can be relaxing, not to mention the interaction with other people in dining places. Restaurants may offer Mexican, African, Chinese, and European based food options, just to name a few. Among the most common restaurants include Chipotle and Moe’s, which offer Tex-Mex dishes. The two are different in terms of the food options available, locations, quality of services not to mention food prices.

 

Chipotle

Also referred to as Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., this is a Tex-Mex fast-casual American based restaurant specializing mission-style burritos and tacos. It has locations in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Canada, and France. It was founded in 1993 by Steve Ells and now has over 2,000 locations, having employed over 45,000 employees in the year 2015.

Its menu consists of five major items namely: tacos, salads, quesadillas, burritos, and bowls with the price of each based on barbacoa, chicken, steak, pork carnitas and tofu choices. Additional toppings are available at an extra fee with choices ranging from beans, sour cream, rice, salsa, lettuce and cheese with a wide choice of drinks including margaritas, beer, fruit, and soft drinks. A children’s menu is also available at the restaurant.

 

Moe’s

Founded by Raving Brands in December 2000, Moe’s Southwest Grill is a fast-casual restaurant founded in Atlanta, Georgia. Now a subsidiary of Focus Brands, the restaurant is owned by Cinnabon, Carvel, Schlotzysky’s, Auntie Annes’s brands and McAlister’s Deli. The restaurant serves a wide range of products, with its menu items drawing names from popular culture.

Among the menu food items include tacos, burritos, salads, quesadillas, salsas, burrito bars, and stacks, with over twenty ingredients available for personal customization. Moe’s serves every order along with salsa and chips on the side. With over 700 locations locally and internationally including Russia and Turkey, Moe’s is defiantly a favorite for many.

Chipotle has an ultra-modern restaurant theme with metal sculptures hanging on the wall and take out bags and cups crafted with a creative spin hence has a cool atmosphere and look.

On the other hand, Moe’s has a basic restaurant theme with a modern style and some contemporary art.
