The Canon EOS Rebel SL1 is a pure beauty. Compared to the T3, it packs a higher number of pixels. It comes with 18.5 MP compared to the 12.6 MP of the Rebel T3. At a higher ISO, the Rebel SL1 features significantly lower noise level. The sensor is also larger in the Rebel SL1 compared to the Rebel T3. The image quality is much better and the pixel density is almost twice more than that of the Rebel T3. The screen size in the Rebel SL1 is 3 inches and the device comes with a built in microphone.

The maximum light sensitivity in the Rebel SL1 is 25600 ISO which is practically 4 times higher than the maximum light sensitivity in the Rebel T3. The Rebel SL1 has a touchscreen display, but the Rebel T3 does not. The weight of the Rebel SL1 is also much lighter than the T3 model. The Rebel SL1 sports a built-in HDR mode and comes with a pretty high resolution. The resolution is in fact nearly 5 times higher than the Canon Rebel T3. The body occupies less volume in the Rebel SL1. The form factor is also very thin and the video quality is explicitly a lot better.
Compared to the Rebel SL1, the Rebel T3 does not feature much to go for a competition. However, the T3 does pack a 30% stronger battery life and a little bit better color depth. It also has a stereo microphone, which the Rebel SL1 does not have and the cross-type focus points in the Rebel T3 are also higher in number.
