Differences Between a Padded and a Push-up Bra
Padded vs Push-up Bra
Not all girls are gifted with a large, full chest. Since girls are becoming more conscious of their curves and appearance, they have resorted to using padded and push-up bras. Padded and push-up bras generally enhance the appearance of your breasts. But how they are different from each other?
A padded bra is tailored to make your chest appear bigger. As its name implies, it is a type of bra which is padded. The padding material of the bra can either be water, foam, or gel. These materials are manufactured particularly to come up with the perfect padded bra to increase breast volume. Padded bras are manufactured with varying levels of padding that can meet the wearer’s needs. If you want your chest to appear slightly larger, you can choose a padded bra with slight amount of padding. Other padded bras consist of more padding. But, of course, you need to choose a padded bra that goes well with your clothes. Some padded bras don’t seem to appear natural when worn under your clothing.
On the other hand, a push-up bra works by pushing your breasts up a little higher. In turn, it gives your chest a more rounded look. Ladies with large breasts that seem to sag use a push-up bra. We all know that breasts can sag due to their weight, and, of course, gravity. Push-up bras come in different types. Some push-up bras can lift your breasts and separate them nicely, giving them an enhanced look. Other push-up bras lift and extend one’s cleavage. Ladies can wear those plunging necklines with a little cleavage to show off with the help of a push-up bra. Push-up bras may also contain padding, but the padding is placed on both sides of the bra thus pushing your breasts together.
So which type of bra is better to use? You can use a padded bra or push-up bra that can conform to the needs of your chest. For example, if you are not really fortunate to have a bouncy chest, you can opt for a padded bra. As we have said earlier, a padded bra increases the volume of your chest. In wearing a padded bra, you can trick anyone’s eyes that you have slightly bigger, round breasts. You can also wear a padded bra if, somehow, you have an irregular breast shape.
If you already have sagging breasts, then a push-up bra is best for you. The push-up bra does not only support your breasts, but it can also lift them up to their normal position. With its built-in wiring under the bra itself, it pushes your breasts up, giving your breasts a fuller look. A push-up bra is best to wear when you are wearing a low-cut shirt.
When choosing any type of bra, be sure it’s a good fit. If your purpose is to enhance the appearance of your breasts, a padded bra or a push-up bra is one of the top choices. If you don’t know the measurement of your chest, you can ask the store clerk to assist in measuring your cup size.
