Chevy Tahoe LS vs Tahoe LT
The Chevrolet Tahoe is a full-size SUV from the American company General Motors. This is quite a large vehicle with a suitably large engine and correspondingly low mileage. There are several variants of the Chevy Tahoe, including the LS and LT variants. Actually, the LS and LT variants are just different trim packages that specify the features that you get as well as the upgrade options that you have. The Tahoe LT is a higher trim option with better features and upgrades compared to the Tahoe LS. Correspondingly, the Tahoe LT also has the higher base price than the Tahoe LS.
Because the Tahoe LT is the higher trim option, it comes with a number of features that are not available or considered as upgrades for the Tahoe LS. The first is leather seats for the first two rows of the vehicle. The Tahoe LS only comes with cloth seats, which does not have the same opulent feel that leather has. Another feature is the Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist system. This enables the Tahoe LT to know if there is an obstacle behind it and accordingly warn the driver that he is about to hit something when backing-up. This system is considered as an upgrade for the Tahoe LS and has a corresponding price on top of the base price.
Aside from features that come as standard, there are also features that are only available on the Tahoe LT. Upgrades such as the DVD entertainment system for the rear seats and power sunroof are only exclusive for the Tahoe LT. The dealership would not be able to give these upgrades to the Chevy Tahoe LS even if you ask them to.
In terms of performance, there really is no difference between the Tahoe LS and Tahoe LT. The only difference between them is in the creature comforts that you get or can avail of.

Funny. I called my two local chevy dealers and asked them how I could tell the difference between the LT and LS on my 2003 Tahoe. Neither one could tell me the difference. Seemed kinda odd.
