There are various types of apartments which can confuse many. One can come across apartments like one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments, and studio apartments. When talking of one-bedroom and studio apartments, it can be a bit confusing, and they are often used interchangeably.

Unlike a one-bedroom apartment, a studio apartment can be called a single block. A studio apartment is only a large, single room that has a kitchen and a bathroom. In a studio flat, each area in the single, large room is meant for different purposes. One corner may be designed as a living room, another would be designed as a kitchen, and another as a bedroom. Generally, there would be dividers or partial walls in-between each area.
In a one-bedroom apartment, there are different spaces for the living room, kitchen, dining room, and bedroom. However, in the case of studio apartments, there are no different spaces for the kitchen, living room, or bedroom, but all these are separated by dividers or partial walls. The studio apartment has a multi-purpose room only. In size, the one-bedroom apartment is bigger. In price tag also there is a considerable difference between the two. As the one-bedroom apartment is larger than the studio apartment, it has a higher price tag than the other.
