Bagel and Bialy are bread rolls. Made of wheat dough, both bagel and bialy are similar in their looks and similar in their ingredients. Both Bagel and Bialy are considered to have originated from Poland.
Bialy is a flat bread roll that is made from gluten flour. Ingredients like chopped onions and poppy seeds form the top of Bialy. On the other hand, Bagel is a bread roll that contains malt.
One difference that can be seen is that the malt in Bagel converts into sugar whereas it does not happen in Bialy. Another difference that can be seen is that Bagel contains more flour when compared to Bialy.
Another major difference that can be seen between the two delicacies is that Bagel contains sugar and Bialy comes with no sugar. On the other hand, Bialy contains chopped onions on top of it for added flavor.
In the preparation also, there is much difference between Bagel and Bialy. While Bagel has to be boiled before it is baked, Bialy can be baked straight.
