Difference Between Milk and Lactaid
Milk vs Lactaid
Milk and Lactaid milk are diary products that are different in many aspects. One of the main differences between Milk and Lactaid milk is that the latter contains no lactose.
Lactaid milk is preferred by people who have problems with digestion of lactose. Unlike milk, Lactaid milk contains only lactase enzymes, which break down the lactose into simple sugars — galactose and glucose. When the sugar is broken down, it becomes easy for the persons who have problems with lactose.
Lactid milk comes in low fat and fortified calcium and it serves the purpose of any other dairy product. One important factor that has to be noted is that Lactaid milk contains more of Vitamin D3, which helps in calcium absorption.
An eight ounce glass of milk contains eight grams of protein while a half a cup of Lactaid milk contains four gms of protein. In like manner, the carbohydrate level in a glass of milk is 11 gms, it is 6.5 gm in half a glass of lactaid milk.
While the fat content of milk depends on the type of milk , half a glass of Lactaid milk contains 2.5 gm of fat. In calcium content, both milk and Lactaid milk come with the same percentage.
When talking of other nutrients of milk, eight ounce glass of milk contains 30 per cent(Daily Value) of Vitamin B-12, 10 per cent(Daily Value) of Zinc, 25 percent of Vitamin D and ten per cent of Vitamin A.
On the other hand, a half glass of Lactaid milk contains 10 mg of cholesterol, five per cent of vitamin A, 25 per cent of calcium and 12.5 per cent of Vitamin D. This milk does not contain any Vitamin C.

Can you explain to me what is the difference between the lactaid milk 1 % with the lactaid regular
If there is no lactose then why do you need the addition of lactase enzymes to re remove lactose “which removes lactose enzimes.” It would seen this additions is not needed since they have alreay removed lactose. I think investigating the lactase enzymes is needed.
I don’t understand why you compare a 8 oz glass of milk to a half glass of Lactaid. Looks to me if you multiple by 2, milk & Lactaid are equal on almost all levels.

Exactly my thoughts. They must think people are really stupid
I don’t understand why they halved Lactaid milk compared to regular milk either!!! Seems to intensionally confuse the reader in order to have them choose regular milk!
